REI Community Night: Celebrating NC State Parks Centennial

Course overview

Join REI Charlotte for a members only community night event celebrating our North Carolina State Parks Centennial! Park rangers from Crowders Mountain State Park, Lake Norman State Park and Morrow Mountain State Park will share what makes their parks special. Join REI and discover the amazing natural resources and opportunities that await you, all within an hour of Charlotte. After presentations, REI will celebrate the NC State Parks 100th birthday with cake and light refreshments. After the break, REI will show the 30 minute film, “Here in This Place,” a celebration of North Carolina State Parks. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to see how they can get involved and help ensure that the parks will be around for another 100 years!

EENC recognizes that not everyone can attend our annual conference, so we are providing a day long mini-conference for EENC Members, Teachers, and Non-formal educators. This networking and professional development opportunity is not to be missed!

The Mini-Conference is an great opportunity to work on Criteria II or Criteria III of your EE Certification Portfolio.

EENC is offering a limited number of scholarships of $100.00 to Classroom Teachers to help pay for associated costs (substitutes, travel, etc.).
