About Us
Student Connections (SC) centre in Moncton, New Brunswick was established in 1997. The centre operates within the university's Centre Assomption de recherche et de d�veloppement en entrepreneuriat (CARDE), under the direction of the Faculy of Administration at the University of Moncton. The centre employs 13 Student Business Advisors (SBAs) and has a satellite office in Edmundston, New Brunswick. Due to growing demand, the centre is also looking to expand its services to Fredericton and St. John in the near future.
Special Offers
SC Moncton offers Internet training specially designed for seniors. We offer four seniors modules that start by introducing basic computing skills and progress to more advanced training on electronic commerce. The seniors modules we offer are:
- Basic Computing Skills
- Introduction to the Internet
- Communicating On-line
- Electronic Commerce And You

Employment Opportunities
Student Business Advisors (SBAs) are typically computer science or business students in their third or fourth year of study who are interested in gaining valuable work experience to enhance their future employability. Students participating in the program receive specialized training and are tested and certified to deliver SC Internet training and e-commerce services. Please note, that SC is funded by the Youth Employment Strategy, therefore, applicants must be between the ages of 15-30.
