The Charlotte area has thousands of miles of underground pipes that carry stormwater to more than 3,000 miles of creeks. When stormwater moves over streets and parking lots it can pick up anything in its path that becomes pollution in our creeks.
Make a New Year resolution to be a Water Watcher! Report illegal dumping of pollutants down storm drains or pollution in creeks, ponds or lakes. To report pollution, you can:
